Hello Folks, Here is the newest mixtape. I didn't really have a grand scheme or much of a theme for this tape, hence I just went for "radio". I guess most of the songs are all electronic, some being influenced by R&B, some hip-hop, some traditional dance music. I really just wanted to put out some songs I have been listening to this summer. I didn't have the usual tools either to put it together, but never the less, I think it turned out pretty good. Enjoy. Shlohmo says himself "Basically me and my Wedidit brethren have been fucking around recently slowing down big room house tunes and old d&b and '90s vocal house shit real, real slow. Like taking 160 BPM d&b tunes and screwing them down half speed to 80. Then we realized you could mash that shit with double time footwork stuff and it sounds real 2 us." Sounds good to me. So, you may already know this, but I just found out and am totally psyched. First off, I can't stop listening to Pyramids and can't wait for the new album Channel Orange. So I was looking up Frank Ocean songs on Dat Diff and I found that Frank use to record under Lonny Breaux and has about a 64 song cache of booty. You can get it all here. You may have to make a Dat Piff account, but totally worth it.
