Purity Ring: download Lofticries, Shrines & Odebear

I am looking forward to Purity Rings first album release, Shrines, on July 24th. (Album artwork above). It will be released via 4AD and Last Gang records. They are a male/female duo that make electronic pop music with some ghostly vocals.
4AD describes the duo: "Purity Ring make lullabies for the club, drawing equally from airy 90s R&B, lush dream pop, and the powerful, bone-rattling immediacy of modern hip hop. Megan’s remarkable voice is at once ecstatic and ethereal, soaring joyfully through Corin’s carefully chopped beats, trembling synths, and skewed vocal samples."

Arca is a Venezuelan beat producer on the UNO label. He makes dark rhythms that have a splash of hip hop (weird on this website?). He is giving away his free EP "Stretch 1" here at his site. I like track five, "Ass Swung Low", but it has one of the creepiest music videos ever, in a non-stereotypical way.

It has been 12 years since The Avalanches released one of my favorite albums, "Since I Left You".And rumors have been buzzing that the new album is coming soon. Sounds a lot like Detox. But, back in March Danny Brown did say he finished a new song with them for the new album.

On the 21st, The Avalanches posted a link on their twitter to a new mixtape called "Sleepy Bedtime Mix For Young Ones". Saying it "may or may not be mixtape by ♥ ∆v∆L∆NCH∑≤ ♥." ASAP Rocky has a new single out for his upcoming album, which is due out this summer. This single was produced by Hit Boy, who produced the ever famous "Niggas in Paris". The album is supposed to have the collaboration song with Lana Del Rey that was previously on the Kickdrums mixtape.
